Seeking Partners for Art Is for Everybody: Brushes of Hope

ree

Lately, much of my energy has been focused on preparing grant proposals and researching opportunities to reach out to potential corporate sponsors and individual donors for my newest project, Art Is for Everybody: Brushes of Hope.

This initiative, in collaboration with the City Anti-Drug Abuse Division — Oro Wellness Center, will provide personalized art kits for vulnerable mothers and plea bargainers as part of their recovery and reintegration journey. Each kit includes soft pastels, paper for practice, a canvas for a final art project, and a reusable apron — printed with the donor or sponsor’s name — that participants will use throughout the program.

These kits are intentionally designed to be cost-effective and sustainable. At approximately ₱500 each (US $10), and with supplies purchased wholesale, every peso stretches further to maximize the donor’s investment. The kits empower participants to continue creating beyond workshop hours, turning art into an accessible tool for healing, resilience, and renewal.

Right now, I am in the early stages — writing proposals, shaping sponsorship packages, and continuing to research the best ways to grow this work. It’s a process that reminds me daily of how much potential this project has: not only to transform the lives of participants, but also to ripple outward to families and the community by reducing stigma and creating spaces of dignity and belonging.

👉 If this mission speaks to you, or if you know an organization or individual who may be interested in sponsoring a set of kits, I’d love to connect. Every kit represents not just supplies, but a real opportunity for someone to heal, create, and reclaim hope.
